Whether you’ve only just bought your camera or you’ve had it a while but don’t really know how to get the best out of it, this workshop is for you!
In this workshop we aim to help you get the most from your camera and understand how the camera comes to the decisions it does. We’ll cover off essential photography terms as well as handy compositional tools you can use to improve your photography. By the conclusion you should have an understanding of apertures, ISO and shutter speed and their uses and effects on your photographs. You should be able to frame a photograph in a pleasing way and have an understanding of how light and shadows affect your work.
This workshop runs for approximately 3 hours and is held in the centre of Brisbane at one of two locations (Kangaroo Point Cliffs or Wilson’s Outlook). This allows time for theory and practical components as we shoot the famous “Blue Hour” over Brisbane’s photogenic skyline.
The workshop caters to a maximum of six (6) students. You get plenty of one on one time during the practicals and it makes for a more relaxed learning environment.
Please note, there is a minimum class size of 2 people and being an outdoor workshop we are weather dependant, postponements are possible especially in the stormy months of the year.
